Thread: Interesting repair

Did a not so common repair for a customer the other day. It was a sleep/wake button on a 6th generation nano. Only way to do it is to replace the whole flex cable that includes volume buttons, sleep/wake button, and headphone jack. Was a pretty straightforward repair and was successful! Just wondering if anyone else has done repairs on the 6th gen nano. Just an interesting repair for me because this is the first time a customer had brought me one. Here's some pics

Yeah, I've done 2 of them. I saw you post that on Instagram and I thought it was pretty cool. They're nice and easy compared to other iPod models, just a really small workspace. Good stuff doc
