3gs shows "No Service" and no Wifi signal/icon

Hi,

i'm facing this problem (as titled) right now, i'm using a jailbroken 3gs with ios 5.0.2, woke up this morning seeing the apple logo (hanged). tried restarting but takes very long, thereafter i've lost my network signal and wifi signal/icon.

when i go into settings, there's no "Carrier" selection.

tried restarting many times but unable to resolve.

i wonder if this is a hardware or software issue.

please advise

Sounds to me you have a bad antenna. Open up the phone and take a pic if you can of the logic board and all

by the way, there's another problem too, my 3gs will also auto restart by itself in intervals of approx 5-7mins. could a bad antenna cause this too?

Maybe might be a bad logic board tho
