Default Stiff home button on 4S
Hey everyone, recently did a screen replacement for a customer and now the home button is super stiff and is also activated when the lower sides of the phone are pressed. Tried several different home buttons and had the same result. The home buttons have the metal spacer on the back so I know that can't be it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Isn't there apiece or washer something behind that button?

Yes there is a spacer/gromet that holds the home button to the digitizer assembly and also a metal square that's attached to the back of the home button itself.

Yeah I agree with Cowboy. This usually happens to me when I remove the old adhesive but don't put new adhesive on when reinstalling. Makes the screen sit just a bit too tight.
