10-13-2012, 11:57 PM #1spilled a little water on my phone. what to do?
i left my phone near my sink and some water got into it.
i looked at the screen when it was on and notice some water damage around the corners.
i immediately took off the back plate and powered down the phone.
right now i placed it into a plastic bag with some silica gel packets.
should i leave it like that or should i buy new silica gel that isn't in packets and put the phone into that?
is rice a better choice?

I prefer the packets. Easier clean up. Rice is good but messy so just stick with those. Leave it in there overnight at the least. Patience is key here lol.Twitter: @irevivalrepairs | Instagram: @irevivalrepairs
