Have a done plenty of mid frames not all loose signal its actually usually the people that change the glass to some sort of metallic gold or something along that line that reduces signal strength.

I'm going to have to agree with Cowboy on this one. I've had far more signal issues with screens that have metallic finishes to them than midframes. However I can say that plated frames have more signal loss as compared to the painted ones. They are much more resilient, however I've never had signal loss issues with the painted frames. Plated ones I have had signal loss issues, including on my own own 4S at one point.

Thanks, im looking at a gold/ black mid frame for my 4s that already has a blue metallic front and back. I dont want any signal loss. Been looking at this mid-frame set that's already put together minus a few components.

I'd say any one of those would be fine.

I just had a black electroplated midframe installed in my 4S and I'm definitely having signal loss issues. I'm not sure if its the plating or possible a part damaged during installation. Sitting side by side with my wife's 4S, I am getting 1 to 2 bars loss. Anybody else having this issue? Any advise?(besides removing the midframe)

    Thanks
