Default No sound after replacing LCD please help
So I've just replaced my screen on my iphone 4 gsm and everything is working fine no problems apart from the sound. When I play music or press keys Etc I have no sound, but I have sound in the top earpiece I can hear phone calls but no other sound like apps and ringtones.
Tryed putting the bottom dock back in and all the cable again but no change.

    CAn anyone help?

There are two prongs at the base of your speaker housing. Make sure those are clean and are touching the connector plates on the flex directly beneath them. Also clean those little connector plates as well.

Hi, should the dock be under the logic board or on top of the logic board.

I know 4S is on top essentially you can take it out without taking the logic board out.

the dock should be at the base of the phone, under the speaker housing. the logic board is above all that. its always smart to remove the logic board before replacing a charger dock assembly. always check your connections, and make sure you clean the connections as well.

Did you connect the dock/wifi cable by the battery connector? I know a couple times I've forgotten to connect that and had no sound.

+1. I'd check that and the prongs underneath like delutedsoul said as well.
