Loss of wifi.

Hi ladies and gents.

I've changed the screen on an iPhone 4, since then the wifi signal has been really poor, it works if I'm close to the modem, as I walk away it gets weaker weaker until it goes altogether.

Any ideas how to resolve this would be much appreciated

Ya got a case on it? Mine had this problem when i had a case on it. Might just be the case messing with it.

The only possibility is the Wifi connection might be loose. You may have to open up your iphone and check it out.

Could it be to with the metal piece at the top. Just read that this is the antenna.

On the shield that cover the flex cables there is a small metal clip. When reassembling the very top screw on the shield goes through it. It is shiny, not black like the rest of the shield. If that piece falls off then your WiFi connection will do exactly what yours is doing. I'd check that first.
