Replaced first home button on GSM Iphone 4
Hi, I recently replaced my first home button on the iphone 4 using a flex cable from Pacific Toy, and when I powered my phone up, the home button did not work. I ordered a few more home buttons to give it another shot incase i did not connect it correctly (I plan on using tweezers this time instead of my fingers). I just want to make sure that the phone should work without having to reset to recognize the new part. If i need to reset, what is the best way to reset w/o having a functional home button.
Thanks!

No reset is needed. It should work one time as long as it isn't damaged or faulty.
