I finally got a replacement camera for my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1.1) because the flash on the original camera was not working. After setting up the new camera, the flash still isn't working. What could be going on?

Most likely software-related. Try restoring the phone, it'll probably work after that.

I had restored the phone numerous times with the old camera, would it make a difference now?

Most likely yes since you do have a new flash on it...

Thanks, I'll do it as soon as I find a way to write down all the Cydia files I've downloaded

I sent him a PM about this 3 days ago, no response. Try sending him one, he didn't get mine or something I guess.

Hi, your second camera unit could be faulty or the original is ok and something else is a miss. I would try either booting up with no camera unit fitted, then powering down, disconnect the battery for a few minutes (presuming its on a plug) refitting the original or new and booting up again to see if you can get the hardware to "sync"

Second unit has to be faulty then. Contact the seller and explain the issue to get a replacement.
