water damaged iphone 4s? goes in and out of sleep randomly.

Hey guys, I have water damaged 4s.

I have put it in rice for 2 days now. The camera and power button is not working and hasn't been replaced yet. However I have replaced the battery. I have done a full restore as well and i can make calls and go on wifi. The only thing issue i'm having is when the phone goes to sleep mode it kicks back on after a minute (like as if the home button was pressed) and it does this at a interval of 30 seconds. However, when i plug the phone with usb cable into my laptop, that phone is perfectly normal with no sleep issues. What do you guys suggest i do next? should i try cleaning the motherboard with rubbing alchohol?

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Try cleaning the motherboard with denatured alcohol. And retest the phone.
