headphones always plugged in when theyre not?
After I changed the LCD on my iPhone 4, no sound came from the speaker.. It turns outthat the phone thinks there's a headphone plugged into its jack..but there isn't any thing plugged in..I take the back of and play around with the jack till it works again..but then a couple of days later same
problem. What's wrong with IPhones why does this happen when you change the LCD..its very common!..any help would be brilliant, thanks.

I had this problem before and got a can of air and blew it in the port. Worked after that. Won't hurt to try that out.

It's would be the audio flex ribbon. So the ribbon that controls the headphone jack and volume controls.
Sorta tricky to do if you have no experienceFollow me @LoganWesterman

I Would rather break down a iPhone 4 gsm any day. Then mess with the CDMA counterpart. More screws, the flexes are just irritating to say the least. I just recently did a mid frame swap....NO BUENO. Needless to say the labor I charged for the repair didn't feel like enough lol

haha. I feel that I don't charge enough for labor for any repair on a CDMA iphone aside from the color swaps/screen repairs.
