Default Please help me locate my serial number!!!

I need my serial number to claim warranty on my phone because my phone is bricked and i can't see it on my screen. I bought this phone used and I replaced the sim tray when i lost it. Is there any other ways to identify my serial number so i can claim my warranty? thanks for all your help.

You dont have the box? Other thing would most likely be to open it up.

Apple is the one who has to determine if your iPhone is under Warranty. Take iPhone to Apple. If you determine the Serial # it will not help, because it will still be Apple decision.

Your serial number should be on your sim tray.

Aah, sorry. Missed that part in your OP.

What about the phone is bricked? What is its status? Does a computer still see it?

So you can't put it into DFU or anything like that?

Assuming at some point it was working and you connected it to your computer try this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=271620

    Check post 3 there.

wouldn't even see anything it's just a black screen right now and it wouldn't even get into dfu mode. I tried the third post and didn't get anything either.

Not sure then sorry. You can open it up and see of there is a serial number in there. Just be sure not to take any of the "tamper" screws out if you can.

It may be best just to leave it though like the other poster said and let apple determine the status of it.
