Default iPhone 4 screen problem (broken?).

I have an iPhone 4 32GB (GSM) and replaced the power and senor cable because it was faulty. During the process while disassembling it I had forgotten to remove the SIM tray and while trying to remove the logic board I didn't notice and was forcing the logic board but not too much.

When turning the iPhone back on my screen was all crap.

    Pic here:

Now I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the logic board, but thought it might be it because I didnt touch the front panel.

    Any idea guys? Thanks

PS: Digitizer works since touch screen works etc. I'm just unsure whether it's the LCD screen or the logic board?

All the connectors plugged in tight?

Looks like you've most likely damaged the lcd cable

I've cleaned the logic board with rubbing alcohol and the connectors too. I'm on my way to try a working LCD and see if it works. Hopefully it's only the LCD screen and has nothing to do with the logic board coz I'd be pissed an throw the i4 away.

We tried 2 different LCD cables. One of them glew pure white but no picture, and the other the same but seemed to start with a fade black and then come white, while my iPhone LCD stayed black.

The second one (that started with a fade) after playing the the connector the screen turned on and all was fine but the screen had a couple of flickers and turned off again. So my thoughts is that there is a loose connection on the logic board.

    Any ideas guys?

You simply messed up your LCD, nothing else. Buy a new front assembly, replace it, and finally be happy. Or shoot Cowboy a PM, let him fix it for you and save your self the headache.
