Default iPhone 3g proximity sensor clip broken - advice needed please

Hi everyone, ear speaker and prox sensor not working. Took apart iphone (very carefully) and found the little clip that holds the ribbon cable number 3 in place has come off the logic board. The cable is intact without any damage and the copper sensors on the logic board itself are all ok, it's just the plastic clip that holds cable number 3 on to the board.

So my question is how is the clip attached to the board? I assume it's glue? There doesn't seem to be any pins that hold the clip to the board.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The Flex Cable #3 Logic Board Connector is micro-soldered to the Logic Board. It can be standard soldered to the Logic Board by a very skilled person, or micro-soldered to the Logic Board by a skilled person.
