Broke a piece inside my iPhone 4 while removing the battery. Need help
I was removing the battery on my iPhone 4 (AT&T) yesterday. When I removed it I bumped a piece that connects the volume buttons and mute switch. Now the phone is stuck on vibrate and I can't change it. I want to replace it but I cant find that piece for sale anywhere. I found a photo of another phone and I tried to show what I'm talking about. Or, where it is broken. Can you guys help me out?? I need to get this thing fixed.

a google search of "iphone parts" will bring up a number of places that sell parts

This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

I broke one of those off my first iPhone 4 conversion. Didn't seem to cause any issues although I do know they help with grounding the antenna. If you experience reception issues you'll have to replace that whole bottom piece, but they aren't really expensive.

That is the Headphone Jack Flex Cable for the iPhone 4. It contains the Headphone Jack, Volume Buttons, and Mute Switch. That is what you have to search for online.

PLEASE, if you have not done this one before, goto youtube and look around. This is not an easy one. There are small parts that, not put together right, will make you cry. The power button is a cake walk, but folding this thing before you put it in is an orgami class of it's own.
Look at other people doing it first.
Don't let me scare you out of doing it, but be careful.unklbyl
