iPhone Major Fault

hello all

my iPhone is broke, it turns on through the wall plug charger after fiddling around with the power button, then when it is on, it has no signal or nothing but not the laptop, as soon as i take the charger out it turns off. Would this be a fault with the battery?

desperately need help guys

it dont even turn on through the wall charger anymore.

sounds like a dead battery. time to open her up and replace with battery. how old is that phone?

good few years, i bought it off my mate and he had it for about 2 years, when the iPhone 3GS first came out
