This is the piece that fell out... can someone Identify???!!
A little Backstory...
I ordered an AT&T Display Assembly from TRUST2WORLD on Amazon...
During installation, when I was pealing back the Blue protective film from the LCD the foil backing came up with it... Needless to say when I tested it after that I just got a white screen...
I already ordered a new one ( as I don't have time to wait for the whole RMA Process) and started filing the claim to get my money back for the defective one...
But when I finally tore the whole thing down again... As I was taking off the display assembly THIS fel out as well...
It looks a little bit like the "button" like connectors used for the speakers in here and the antenna for the Itouch... But it looks like it was soldered in somewhere and detached...
Please give me good news people!!!!!
Oh yeah... It's an AT&T Iphone 4...
I have done a few Verizon (Which seems easier to work to me... except for the corner screws holding on the display frame)... But this is my first ATT and it's kind of tricky...

This is around the same size as one of the larger screws that go into the phone... flat piece that looks like it was a contact of some sort... almost like something in the headphone assembly?
I think Cowboy is correct. That looks like the golden metal piece that is attached to the very top of the Logic Board on the underside. It is next to the Long Screw, and seems to sit between the Digitizer and LCD cables. I think this piece it is vulnerable to the cables pinching together on this piece as the Logic Board is removed. It gets trapped by the cables and is torn from the Logic Board. What is the fix for this? Maybe pressure will hold it in place, maybe needs to be soldered back on, maybe some of that metalic solder glue, or maybe super glue at the edges but not on the middle of the contacting metal.
