Iphone 3G Won't restore 1611 error and can't jailbreak

So basically my iphone 3G won't jailbreak with redsn0w 9.6rc16 with 4.2.1, i always get the error "mounting rootfs as read only , ERROR!"
and then it goes to recovery mode, and every time i try to restore it i always get the 1611 error.
Please help me. it won't turn on, it gets stuck on the apple logo.

Outttt did you have any luck with resolving this? I ran into the same issue after following the link below. Particularly on the CommCenterClassic step.

I've taken photos of the iphone screens where it hits errors if this helps.
