How do you install the flex cable?

So I recently installed a new flex cable and the proximity sensor and noise cancelling mic doesn't work. Is there a proper way to install it

it only fits properly one way...so you might have installed it wrong...
especially if your power button still works but the other 2 dont...

You can find all the guides for your iPhone 4 here. These are the same guides my brother used to replace my power/lock button and power and sensor cable.

I used that site, but it doesnt tell me how the power button goes back in.
