Hi, I have an iPod Touch 2G my friend gave to me. He said he found it in a bowling alley, and he wanted me to restore it for him. Upon plugging the device in, I discovered that he most likely stole it from one of our classmates. (iTunes said "Cannot conenct to John's iPod")
I need to remove the password of this iPod, by deleting the keychains2.db from a certain location, which will make it enabled again and remove any passcodes. I ran greenpois0n on the iPod, which I think jail broke it, but I'm not sure. I plugged the iPhone into TinyUmbrella, and it doesn't recognise it. When I turn on the iPhone by holding home and inserting the USB cable, TinyUmbrella says its a "Recovery Device", and only gives me the ECID. iPhoneBrowser doesn't work whether it's booted up or in Recovery/DFU mode. Does anyone know how to access this device?
