Buying an iPhone 4... Antenna Gate Issue Fixable?

Hey guys... So I'm planning to most likely buy an iPhone 4, a black one to be specific, and I know they had the so called "Antenna Gate" issue, but I remember hearing that the white iPhone 4 supposedly had a design improvement on the antenna, so is it possible to source an updated mid plate to swap in and fix this issue? Otherwise, it's not really stopping me from buying the phone, but it would be nice to fix when I color swap the phone to white later. I don't believe in bumpers or cases either, as that adds bulk, and I want a real fix.

Welcome to a year and half ago. If you drop calls then you must have ATT and thats why you drop calls.
