Default My Prototype White iPhone 4
Hey all.. haven't posted here in ages, but thought I would post to share an awesome find I got off of ebay a few weeks ago.
If you would like to read the WHOLE story it's here on MacRumors, White iPhone 4 Prototype purchased from eBay - MacRumors Forums
But long story short, I was looking for broken iPhone 4's on ebay, saw a strange one, decided it was a prototype, bid on it, won it, got it and it was a prototype, even though lots of people at MR thought it wasn't, and now I'm working on fixing it. Lots of photos of it here:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
Cost me about 400$ but I think it's worth it and I can get a lot more if I try to sell it for sure. Interesting things I've since discovered about it, It has a DVT Motherboard, 256MB of RAM (the in store i4 has 512), Has 2009 Trademarks on the digitizer Connections, and has a battery marked EVT_3. I also put my iPhone 4 motherboard into the shell of this one (removed the DVT mobo) and it worked fine.
Going to embed the best of the pics here.

Thanks for reading and leave your thoughts... and if you'd like to buy it from me I will entertain offers.
Currently the motherboard has been sent to the guy who owns the Prototype MacBook Pro with 3G antenna to fix (he's fixing the battery connector, and he knows his stuff). I will post more updates here... and if this is in the wrong section please move it.

    Thanks guys
Yes it was pretty random. I was not looking explicitly for prototype iPhones, but was looking for a broken iPhone I could repair and make a profit out of. But I found this and the whole situation Changed. :P

If I am correct it's a 16GB. If it were a 32GB and if it were a 64GB that would be INCREDIBLE. I doubt it is though. There is no real way to tell at the moment.

It sure would be. Any way to tell from the markings on the chips? The motherboard has removable EMI shields...

Hmmm. It'd be interesting to see. Because if you can figure out what the markings on the chips = in GB, then I'd check. Maybe iFixit can help us?
