Iphone 4 stuck sim tray help

The sim tray in my iphone 4 is stuck in the phone. When I stick the paper clip into the hole and push fairly hard but it feels like hitting a brick wall. The sim tray did not pop out at all, not even a tiny bit. What other method can I do to remove it?

Some of the iP4 SIM Trays are very difficult to get out, especially the first time. Just use the paper clip, pushing straight in, even firmer than you did before.

I tried until my hand hurt but no help. Is it ok to bend the the paper clip like a hook and pull it out?

Oh well, I ended up paid $25 for a repair shop to remove the sim tray (they have to open up the phone). It is the Gevey Ultra sim tray that stuck. Stock sim tray work without issue.

is this a common thing with the gevy trays?

not very common. one thing you could have done was get a tack and SLIGHTLY bend the tip. push it in the hole and let it latch onto the edge of the tray and pull it out.
