Hi,
i ordered these 2 kits at unitediphonerepair.com (back in the days that they sold those items), but sadly enough i broke both screens..
Now i'm looking on the web for a confidential site to order new kits that aren't too expensive, any recomandations?
I found some sites by myself but when i looked for reviews/ comments about the site, i always read some negative comments (like no shipping at all, sending the wrong pieces, thiefs...)

So if anyone could help me with this endless during problem, i would be very thankfull :-D

(PS: the sites i found were: eachsupplier.com , iphone4parts.com , focusupply.com , zeetron.com ...)

Does anyone have a suggestion on properly fitting the 4s home button? I left the rubber gasket out because the home button didnt respond when I had it on there.

You need the rubber gasket on there. Without it the home button won't stay in place, it will spin when you touch it.

Does the home button have the little metal disk on the back of it? If not then it won't respond well or at all

Yeah it has the metal disk. I tried using the rubber gasket but it didnt respond at all when I pressed it.

Losen the bottom corner screws or take them completely out and see if it makes a difference

Or try removing the metal disk. Perhaps it is adding a bit too much there with the gasket. Without it you may have a better time with it.

Here's a similar one from eBay but with clear gems:

Unfortunately, after doing some intense searching, the only place I've found that one that I used (which I've had sitting around for a couple of months and paid 15 bucks for) is alibaba.com and usually coupled with a minimum order quantity of 10-30 pieces. That'd put you around a hundred dollars at least if you want it REALLY bad and don't mind trying to resell the leftovers lol.
