Hey Cowboy,

I'm considering doing a color change to my iPhone 4 (At&t) but I'm wondering if I do a middle plate change as well, will that fix my jack input issue?
If I plug in any audio cable or headphones I don't get any sound out of it. I managed to short it out or something a while back

No that won't fix the issue. You'll have to replace the audio flex cable at the very least.

Got to try replacing the flex the mid frame has nothing to do with headphone jack working or not

Okay so let's say I wanted to change the mid plate to black and also replace the audio flex cable - what would that cost?

Whatever the cost, it is TOTALLY worth it! Swapping the Frame/MidPlate completely changes the entire look of the device. Not to mention moves your "Cool Factor" up a notch or two... at the very least. LOL

Lol yeah I wanna do it but I need to know what I'm looking at. I'm debating on black transparent or one of the mirror finishes for the back and faceplate.

sure does a pain in the @$$ though took me hours it was however my first time doing a mid frame overall outcome worth it though
due to the fact that millions of people have iphones now and days makes your phone kinda unique with a custom mid frame :]

pm cowboy im sure he would hook you up if he has them in stock audio flex cable should be 5-15 bucks its an origami piece though with all the folds it has mid frames range ive seen them anywhere from 30-60 depending on where some are painted though cheaper quality paint chips off however be aware you might loose signal strength minimal difference but there is some
