ipod touch 4 - Front display repair/reassembly
Hi, I couldn't find a Hardware thread for ipod touches, so I'm posting here. (Admin/Moderators please let me know where i could post if this is inappropriate for me to post here).
So I've successfully taken apart and reassembled my ipod touch 4 and I have no idea how i could secure the display. What should i use to glue the display back into place?

Well bro it sounds to me like you bought the wrong parts.
The replacement screen you needed to get would have had the Digitizer and LCD already glued together.
I'm not sure there is a way to glue the LCD on if you bought the Digitizer and LCD separate.
Did you buy the parts separate or did you somehow manage to remove the LCD from the cracked DigitizeriRepair Indy

no no the parts did come glued i mean putting the whole ipod back together. How do I secure the front display (Glass + LCD) to the rest of the body? I don't want it to keep popping out

I haven't been receiving adhesive with my iPT 4th gen assemblies either.
What we've been doing is using the normal iPhone 3G/s adhesive and trimming it as necessary to fit.

So now I have another problem.
Last night when I reassembled everything, the screen turned on and i was able to work everything just fine. However, today when I tried to turn it on, I got a white screen. Does anyone know what I should do?
