3G on 4.2.1 with dots on screen

Just purchased a 3g. The unit has 2 perfectly round dots on the screen. These dots are visable whether sreen is powered up or not. They appear to be burn marks. They appear gray on start up, and then go blacker with a yellow halo after screen comes alive. ???

Just sounds like issues with the LCD to me.

Yep the LCD messed up. Probably cracked or something.

Thank you to both. Same phone 1013 shows up when restoring, has 4.2.1,, 05.15.04 installed. If successful restoring, can I revert back to 3.1.2 Ipsw? Is 421 a power hog?
