Iphone 4 Microphone problems

The microphone on my 4 works for a few minutes and then shuts off on calls. I can almost always voice record notes too. Has anyone had this problem. Is it hardware or software?


If software and I need to reset the phones how can I do that and save my os 4.0.2 and BB 01.59.00 software because I need to keep the phone unlocked and jailbroken.

You probably need a new iphone 4 dock assembly with speaker. It sounds like damaged hardware maybe water got into it.
