Iphone 4 Back Glass

Hi Does anyone know how to remove the glass from the frame? I'm not sure what the parts are called but yeah I'm wondering if it can be done and how (if it is possible).

The easiest way is to take a heat gun aka a blow dryer. And get the glass hot to melt the glue between it and the frame. The take a box knife and slowly and carefully pry the glass from the frame. It take alittle bit of time but if you take your time and do it right its pretty easy

wait are you talking about the back glass? I thought you just just remove to 2 screws at the bottom and then slide the back panel up about 2 millimeters and it pops right off?

are you just replacing the back glass? there are two scrwes on the bottom near the connector. check to see if its a torx or philips. remove the screws and slide the back glass up.. viola its out.

No replacing back glass is simple. I wanted to try separating the glass from the back and putting it in a white support frame (Black on White). It's finished and personally I think it looks really nice.

So I used to have a white iphone 4 but the parts were of bad quality and I ended up deciding to take off the white frames and put the black parts on the white. The screen felt much better.

So here are the pictures: let me know what you all think.
