Did you get your wifi antanna working by using glue? Wish you a good luck.

I decided to use a pin to try and make the connector on the motherboard as 'circle' as possible.. Then I broke the edges off the circle making it a C shape.. The new wifi antenna poped in and I havent pushed my luck with trying to pop it out.. No glue and no tape
Though if the phone would ever fall I wouldn't be amazed if it poped out off the main board... And yes.. The 3GS interchanges to the 3G ,the wifi antenna that is.
The wifi works great now!
But the darn battery dies fast ,, probably because the many times I took it out
Here's a picture of the phone.. It's customized to gold

Thanks for your response. Something like that (thanks for ma1sa's picture)? Looks like the one on MB is smaller so it is male? The circle on the flex is also a "C" shape? Please confirm.

With your hint on another thread, I did use a tape and glued the two pieces and it worked! I put the 3M double stick tape in between and slightly put and hold two pieces together. My 3GS now is working great! But I bet it will fail again if you open it again. Next time I will try this way. Thanks.Last edited by dcgao2004; 04-19-2011 at 10:39 PM.
