iPhone 4 w/ Brushed Metal Back
Here are some pics of my iPhone 4 with the metal back I bought for it. Looks sexy!
Reception looks fine so far (I usually go from 2-5 bars at my house, so not too accurate of a baseline) and it is only a tad heavier (only noticeable if you hold both backs at the same time.).
EDIT: Looks like it does affect reception a little bit, possibly due to not have the little strip of tap-like stuff on the inside.
Results:
With metal back and bumper sitting on desk: -97, -91, -90dB
With original back and bumper in same spot on desk: -88dB.

Nice. The only thing I don't like about it is they get dirt in all the little brushed lines. I use a tooth brush to clean them out.
I Like Eletronics

I have that same one everything rubs off of it pretty quickly. But its still nice with it plain brushed metal

This is actually a different kind of paint. Same stuff Apple uses on the iPod backs.

So it will scratch easily?

Doesn't look like it. I was literally scratch at the back and writing and could get it to come off. Signal does seem to drop a little, but wifi is better. (don't ask me why). Wes, do you know what the little strip of tape like stuff on the inside of te iPhone 4 back is, and if so, where I can get one? Thanks

Honestly I am not sure I heard it has something to do with signal or the flash I don't think it's anything that makes a difference

I heard it was wifi, but I'm think it has more to do with cell reception. I'll do some field test running to see how much it really makes it drop.
