iPhone notification problem.

Stumped.

When I've locked my phone(even if its on auto-lock), and i recieve a text or a notification or a missed call, the screen lights up with the tap to unlock as normal.

But! the screen doesn't dim back off, it just stays lit up and this is draining my battery so fast if i dont notice it.

Any ideas?

Do you have any notification tweaks or something like that installed?

Hmm, very strange. Have you tried restoring and setting up as new to see if that fixes it?
