Default 3gs touch screen repair, touch inaccurate
I just replaced a lcd/digitizer/screen for a friend. I'm not sure where he got it.

I put it back together and the display lights up properly. Touch screen is reporting incorrectly though.

To unlock the phone using the slider, I have to slide at the bottom of the battery indicator (about an inch higher) and some clicks are wrong. When entering passcode, pressing 4 clicks 6, 6 clicks 5, 5 clicks 4.

    Any hints?

The #2 connector really had a hard time staying in, it wanted to pop off with almost no pressure at all.

Which connector # is for the touchscreen anyways?

Thanks for the help, I'm new to this!

It the number to ribbon is what controls the digi.
I had a phone just like it earlier this week i swapped with with a new digi and it worked just fine i am guessing there is something wrong with the pics on the digi ribbon which is allowing it to pop off easily and messing up the positioning.

Sorry, Are you saying it is the #2 ribbon that controls the digitizer?

And if it's popping off like I described, that would result in improper touch behavior?

And, connector #2 should snap in just like connector #1 and if it doesn't, I probably was sent a digitizer with a not-perfect connector?
