Default iPhone power button does not work
I changed the back housing... Everything works fine but the power button... It clicks great but no response!
    Please help I'm frustrated

    This is an iPhone 3G

Ok I opened it up and cleaned the flex cable and cleaned the power button.. It worked

But now I have another problem.. There is a veeery slight gap between the bezel and housing that does not let me close the phone without pressing the screen and back together to close that gap.. How do I fix this... ?

Did you superglue it before placing it?

most of the replacement cases will leave a gap. almost everybody sugest super glue, but make sure you are very careful not to spill ANY on the housing (on the outside visible area) as it will mess up the shiny look
