What batteries are compatible with 3GS?

My battery needed to be replaced. APN: 616-0435

I purchased 3 batteries of that same model number and none worked.
2 wouldn't charge and one randomly rebooted iPhone.

I finally purchased another with a lower model number like 616-0432 and it now charges but won't allow me to update my firmware. Keep getting error 29 and my research blames it on a mismatching battery part number.

What do I do? Any suggestions?

The best suggestion is to search for "iPhone 3gs battery" on ebay. You'll find lots of results ranging from 5 to 15 dollars (Shipping included)

For the most part, the batteries will be just as good as the original. Just remember to train the battery properly for best results!

That's the thing... I did search my battery off eBay. All 3 that I purchased of the same APN as the original battery failed. Is it possible I just received 3 bad batteries? (2 different sellers mind you)

You can buy battery with mA = 1300, 1400 otherwise it causes these probs
