    Default Screen lost sensitivity

I have recently had a new screen fitted to my 2G (don't know the make). Now after about one month, 1cm of the screen (right in the middle) has lost it's 'tap', although 'slide' still works. Furthermore it is not everywhere, as tapping on apps still works, but tapping on a phone number in contacts doesn't work, nor does selecting text in that area on a text message, nor the clear, +/- x buttons on the calculator, etc.

I don't have any recourse with the people that fitted the screen.

Is there a way to fix this, or does it mean a whole new screen again?

    Thanks for advice,
    Andy

Sounds to me part of the digi went dead your probably just going to have to do a whole new screen swap again.

Whole new screen most likely... Might get lucky with unplugging the wire inside and putting it back. New screens are like $10
