True size of Iphone 1gen Drive - 8GB?

Hi all,

I have and JB iPhone 2G and I used i FunBox to copy all data from iPhone to PC, I noticed that it copied over 13Gig of data. I used ********** and some of the apps I installed does not show up on springboard, I was wondering if these failed installed apps somehow is stored on the iPhone somehow and where I can locate them to cleared it out.

Supposedly this is an 8GB as stated in the back plate and what is reported by iTunes, and it just blows my mind as to how 13Gig of data was backed up to my pc from the iPhone.
