^+1, but haven't seen Apple putting torx screws in though. I wonder if somebody stripped the screws and put new ones in...

Default T1 ip4 5 point star torx screwdriver.

The new tamperproof/security screws that Apple installed on new batch of iPhone 4 is T1 ip4 5 point star torx. I have checked with all major tools manufactures in Europe and Southeast Asia and they informed me that none have it yet. Eventually, the manufacture that made those screws will start to leak out some of these screwdrivers and sell on the black market in China before the local brokers buy all and sell them in U.S.

Ordered the tool from iFixit on Friday and it arrived Tuesday. Removed the back several times with the tool. Works great.

Im not sure if they are the same size but the screws in the Ipad are T4s. Would make sense they would use that size for the iPhone 4s maybe.
