Default How to fix iPhone 3G Sim Card Tray Module?
Can anybody point me in the right direction to some sort of video or tutorial on how to fix an iPhone 3G Sim Card Tray Module. Right now it is reading no sim, so I opened it up and the sim tray module only has two gold connectors at the top of it instead of the normal three. i see I can buy this piece from directfix for $10 but not sure what is needed to replace it. I have replaced the lcd and batteries on iphones before but have never done anything that requires soldering, hoping this won't either.

This is not an easy fix. Send it to me, I have done a few of these repairs.

Thanks for the offer, but I decided I am just going to sell it as an ipod touch. Where I live I can get around $300 for it even if the phone part doesn't work. Already ordered a replacement from ebay for just over half of that so I should be good.
