Hello Everyone ,
I am new here .
Now ; I bought an iPhone and it had a cracked screen. I didnt think to check if it turned on or not before i bought it.
So i replaced the Digitizer and lcd display. It did not turn on.
So i replaced the dock connector port thing.
It got recognized as an iPhone in iTunes.
It is in recovery mode .
So i tried restoring it and it makes it to a certain point and on the iphone-- the progress bar just stays in one place, and in iTunes it shows a dialogue box with a four bar progress bar and it says "iTunes is verifying iPhone restore" .
I also forgot to say ; Before it starts to show that it is restoring with the progress bar on the iPhone , it goes to a bright white screen.
I can let it sit overnight, and it still wont finish ..
So what can i do ?
Thanks in advance,

Try restoring to a custom firmware that you can create with Sn0wbreeze. See if the restore process finishes thru with that.
Make sure the phone is in DFU mode before restoring.

I did what you said ::
Its says " The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored because of an unknown error (1601) "

You might want to try the restore again, but follow these directions on this thread (scroll down to where you see a list of instructions)

Hm. I thought you said you got the phone to turn on.
Nvm. Perhaps you should
look into finding a professional to look at it hardware-wise

Do you think an apple expert would look at it considering that i dont have a contract or warrenty or anything?

You can try. There are no guarantees.
I was actually thinking find a non apple professional as they usually know whats up with the hardware and why its not turning on.

Hi, I see u mentioned it turned into a white screen, well, I would have unplugged and plugged back into the dock and it should have flashed and continued the restore process. I will just say your iphone has water damage.By classifying water damage the main board is damaged as in hardware issue. Yes it can be repaired.

Well it would go into the white screen and then continue the restore,
But then it would get stuck at " Verifying iphone restore"
