    Default iPhone issue
    hi
    im new to the iphone(im actually a G1(android) user/lover). i got a hand me down iphone 2G from my madre and she got a newer looking 2G. but anywho, the phones power button doesnt work and the phones battery is dead(dunno if its permanently dead) and it wont charge. so im wondering due to the power button not working is that the cause of the phone not powering or making any type of movement? im planning on getting a new back housing with the flex cables, etc off ebay(nice looking black one) and put that on. so yea i wanna know if thatll be fixed or do i need a new battery? thanks
