switch off phone

hi guys need a bit of advice took phone apart yesterday to replace power/usb docking port put phone back together and all i get is the apple logo cant even switch the phone off to try to restore or anything have i broken something any other way to try to get it up and running again thanks

Have you tried to put the phone in DFU mode? Or hold down the home and power button until in restarts?

hi thanks for the advice just found out its the home button is goosed so cant do that managed to get it to restore in itunes but wanted it jailbroken but cant do that without the hoe button as blackra1n just keeps stopping soon as i make it ra1n ordered a new home button so we shall see thanks again
