iPhone 2G Back Cover Housing

Hi,

Has anyone here successfully replaced their iPhone back housing. If you have can you please tell me where you got yours. I'm tired of getting ripped off by ebay sellers from Hong Kong advertising that their back covers are original. Thanks.

I've done it with 3G from ubreakifix.com, but they unfortunately don't seem to carry 2G parts. I did a bit of searching and the most reliable looking site I found was here:

I looked around at some others which looked pretty... hokey, at best. haha

I take it you have experience dismantling your iPhone at least? I'm sorry to hear about the bad parts. I had that issue with a dock assembly for awhile til I went through somewhere that seemed more reliable.
