Power button/lock button acting up
I just bought a whole back housing off ebay from china. It actually looks good quality.
The phone boots up randomly, but then turns off randomly. When i press the power button it does not turn on. It seems that i can turn it on just fine by plugging it into my computer, but the slide to power off keeps popping up.
The volume buttons seem to work fine.
any suggestions? or anyone that i can send this to that can fix it for like 20 dollars? I don't have to much money.

It's most likely the button from China, use the Original power button with the new housing. I had an issue very similar when I replaced my housing.

Returning the shell? Good idea. I was thinking of doing the same, but after all the effort it took to install I figured it'd be a slap in the face to return it. HaIt's only impossible if you quit.

Oh wow. I didnt even know they made that. I took each and every piece out of one shell and transfered it to another. If only I shelled out an extra $20 I would've saved so much time....It's only impossible if you quit.
