03-28-2010, 11:33 AM #1Question about Warranty and Water Sensors
Don't know if i'm in the good section of the forum but i got some questions :
I have an iphone from a friend , he sent it back to Apple because he had some "no Sim" issues...
The repair was refuses because of red humidity sensor.
I was wondering :
if i can swap the sensor with a white one , do you think the repair will be refused in a genuine bar , cause phone is still under warranty according to Apple Website ( i checked with Serial #)
By the way , has anyone tried to replace the "do not remove" sticker ?

You can bleach the sticker. You may get through.
If you removed the Do not Remove sticker you are screwed.iPhone 4, Yellow Custom Glass, 32GB, 4.3.3, non-working home button. And a prototype iPhone 4 White.

That's what i think too , but i still don't understand why it's shown as underwaranty if the warranty is void because of water sensors ...
