Took apart my 3g, no idea how to put it back together
Well, this is embarrassing.
I took apart my iphone 3g, to try and put on a new housing. I then saw how difficult this was, so i gave up, but i gave up too late. Every thing is in pieces.
Would someone be able to put this back together for me for some money?

You should be able to reassemble with the help of YouTube videos. You didn't ruin anything, did you?

The problem with taking on the reassembly of a phone that someone else has taken apart is that you could easily have damaged flex cables/connectors. So when somebody tries to put it back together they don't want to be responsible for parts you may have damaged

Ok, basically where I am right now, I can't figure out how to get the headphone jack, and on off and side buttons in.
The rest I know I will be able to get in. I have the basic parts swapped into the housing right now. Pic attached

Yeah it looks like the Dock assembly is stuck to the bezel... You need to take that stuff off. I'm sure if you took it apart, you can put it in together correctly. I can do it too... heheiPhone 4, Yellow Custom Glass, 32GB, 4.3.3, non-working home button. And a prototype iPhone 4 White.

I got all screws but two holding the dock assembly to the bezel. Damn! I can't get the last two off. I am sure if I got it off i would be able to do it too
