    After replacing cable # 3 or even after just repairing a 3g or 3gs how does one verify that cable # 3 is OK if you don't have the sim card to place a call. Every repair I have done the person keeps the sim so they can use a back-up phone.

    not sure what your answer is but noticed that you had a 3g still running on 2.1.2, wow, time to update buddy.
    There are several members here that have tons of iPhone repair knowledge and I'm sure will help you. melech518 is one of the best and here on the forum everyday. You could search for one of his posts and send him a PM also.
