Question New iPhone 3Gs Touch screen woes
    K well here's my story...

Ima newb iPhone user but went all out & got 2 New iPhones 16gb 3Gs in less then 2 days..lol..One I got directly from Bell the other I traded my BB Bold for..This phone however has something wrong with the touch screen portion of the phone..Its only a month old mint condition...It would work fine for awhile then just stop responding to touch, shut it off for a hour or so it would work fine for awhile blah blah...

So I popped the screen off & seen nothing wrong with it I put that screen on the other phone & it works 100%..if I put the other screen on the buggered phone it'll do the same just work intermittently...

So obviously the touch screen is fine, it has to be the logic board so I traced down the touchscreen controller on the board & found nothing that looked "un-normal" or messed up..All 3 connections to the digitizer look perfect as well..
Now when its all back together I get nothing no touch screen @ all cant even slide to unlock..

So anyone have ever had or heard of a problem like this before..?

If so please lend a hand this is driving me insane..lol

It is a logic board issue. It mainly happens with water damaged iPhones. It is irreversible.

So whoever traded me this phone obviously knew it was going to crap out & just replaced the water sensor stickers..?

Most likely. And they sold it/traded it because of the issue.

So what are my options besides buying a whole new logicboard..? Is there a particular chip that may be replaced..?
    Thanks

Well the upside is, if the water damage indicators do not indicate water damage, you can have the phone replaced under warranty...
