3G inside of 2G?? Anyone?

Has anyone ever put the guts of the 3G or 3GS into a 2G iPhone? I really want to do this and was wondering if there were any guides or anything.

i thought of this before, i like the 2g much more when it comes to looks. I'm almost certain this wouldn't work, but i may be wrong.

Use the search button on the forum. This has been discussed before and is impossible.

The 1st generation iPhone has different dimensions than the 3G and 3GS. The digitizer alone would not fit into the 1st Gen frame.
