    When I turn my phone on the backlight does not work. It works as normal, but there is no light! I have been messing with the hardware, and I am pretty sure lcd chord three is the problem. Is it not in far enough? Should it be pushed past the white line?

    #3 is your Proximity/ambient light sensor. The backlight is from the LCD.

    There is a good possibility that your LCD needs to be replaced if the backlight is out.
